January 31, 2010 - Hello Diabetes?
It's almost midnight. In a few minutes it will be Monday already, aaack. I'm supposed to be doing either my assignment or my pending layout for a client right now, but what am I doing? Blogging. Hahahah! Well, I was doing the layout before I started blogging.
Ganito kasi yan. Habang nagle-layout ako nakaramdam ako ng gutom. Nakakita ako ng cake sa ref namin. bago ko makuha yung kahon ng cake kailangan ko muna ilabas sa ref yung mga lalagyan ng left over ulamsSsSs na nakapatong sa box ng cake. Nung nakita ko yung left over broccoli and cauliflower in butter, napaisip ako bigla. Pinagpalit ko tuloy yung super tempting cake sa veggies. Naalala ko kasi bigla yung pinabasa sa akin na article ng friend ko about blood sugar. Ito oh, tungkol sa diabetes.
Nagpost kasi ako nun ng "pampagising = banana cappuccino + maraming maraming sugar = hello diabetes" tapos sabi niya nakaka-antok daw lalo ang sugar. Then she posted that link.
Check this out. This is one of the stated signs that you should have you're blood sugar tested for diabetes:

Isang malaking WATDAPUDGE MEHN?!?!?
Sleepiness, check! I thought I was just tired or in siesta mode after eating lunch. Kaya ba lagi ako inaantok ngayon sa office?
Blurry vision, check! I've been wearing my glasses again for some time now kasi feeling ko lumabo yung mata ko. I even thought my astigmatism is getting worst because I didn't wear my "supposed" corrective glasses for months.
Frequent urination, check! Na ipinagtataka ko dahil yung....
Excessive thirst, hmmmm... I don't think so. Hindi nga ako halos umiinom ngayon as compared to when I learned that I'm already urinating portions of my kidney's protein because of UTI.
All that started when I got addicted to coffee -- 7Eleven coffee! Which Pepoy said was uber grabe sa tamis kaya nung tinry niya eh hindi na niya ata siya umulit.
Okay fine. Panibagong dagdag na naman sa listahan ng kasama sa Life Management Course. Lessen sugar intake. @_@
